Marketing Statement

Philadelphia Insurance Companies, a member of the Tokio Marine Group, designs, markets and underwrites commercial property/casualty and professional liability insurance products for select industries.   We have been in operation since 1962 and are nationally recognized as a member of  Ward's Top 50 and rated A++ by A.M.Best.

Duties

We are looking for a Product Development Manager to join our team.

Summary:

Responsible for the coordination and completion of product development projects for Property, General Liability, Auto, Inland Marine, Crime and Professional Liability.

A typical day will include the following:

Works with functional leaders in Actuarial, IT, Stat, Underwriting and Claims throughout the product development cycle.

Responsible for the execution and implementation of product enhancements and new programs.

Prioritizes Product Development projects.                                                                                           

Oversee the state filing department.

Maintains relationships with state insurance departments regarding filing issues.              

Develops the talent and expertise of the product development specialists and state filing analysts.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent 10 year Product Development experience.
Five years Commercial and Professional Underwriting Experience.
Knowledge of ISO forms, rates and rules.
Knowledge of bureau filings, adoption activities, and system development.
Familiar with and an ability to interpret rules and regulations outlined in compliance and commercial lines bulletins.
