*This position is located on the island of Oahu and candidates must work in the state of Hawaii upon hire*

 Typical duties include but are not limited to:

  • Lead in areas of expertise and provide resource and training to staff
  • Provide day to day oversight of workload assignment/distribution in absence of supervisor
  • Analyze and interpret various accounting journals, policies and procedures
  • Prepare journal entries, SOX and audit duties
  • Work with internal and external customers
  • Maintain direct bill receivables and correspond with business associates on open receivables
  • Process payments
  • Answer phones
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Special Circumstances:

  • May require periodic overtime


Qualifications / Experience:

  • 4 year College Degree
  • 3 years of accounts receivable or insurance related experience
  • 1 year serving as an informal team leader or lead with some formal supervisory responsibilities such as task delegation and follow-up, coaching, training and developing, etc.
  • Keyboard 35+ wpm and 10-key by touch
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Performs well under pressure of deadlines, completes assigned tasks in a prompt and reliable manner, and able to manage high volume of work in a multi-task environment
  • An effective communicator who has strong relationship building skills necessary to service internal/external customers
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills – including professional telephone etiquette skills
  • Team player with good attitude who is willing to do what is necessary for the department/company to succeed

 Qualifications Preferred:

  • Experience in Guidewire
