We are looking to hire a Regional Account Manager to join our Mission Viejo, CA office and oversee our Account Management team in the Sunbelt Region.

Reporting to a Territory Account Manager, ensures that Account Management experience goals, new business and renewal production and quality goals are met via interaction with agents, Marketing Representatives, policyholders, U/W’s and other internal and external customers.

  • Manages Account Associate Supervisors, Senior Account Specialists, Senior Account Associates, Account Associates, DEC's and Administrative Assistants, acting as direct manager to Account Associate Supervisors.
  • Manages a designated book of accounts or designated Preferred Agents to service new or renewal business. Analyzes and monitors new and/or renewal pipelines with Account Associate Supervisor to ensure efficient workflow management; monitors status of workload and identifies and solves problems.
  • Communicates strategic plans, goals, objectives, assignments including deadlines and timeframes for completion as well as delegating to Supervisors as appropriate.
  • Works with Territory Talent Advisor to solicit talent from various resources, interviews, hires, trains and mentors Account Associate Supervisors.  Involved in recruiting, interviewing and approving the hiring of Account Management staff.
  • Maintains strong lines of communication with TAMS, SVPs, RVPs, Underwriting Management and other Departments across the Region.
  • Attends Agent Summits / Conventions / Product Fairs, and conducts AM Connect agency visits.
  • Works with HRBP to address personnel and performance issues and applies company progressive discipline process when needed and appropriate.
  • Directly manages the work of the Account Associate Supervisors and (Sr.) Account Associates/Specialists as applicable.



  • Bachelor’s degree; 7 years of industry and account management experience; 3 years of supervisory experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
  • P&C License required.
  • CIC or CISR designation preferred.
