Description

We are open to individuals sitting in one of the PHLY established offices in our Midwest or East Territories. The Summer Associates Program is PHLYs exclusive internship experience. It will require students to think critically about the daily responsibilities of an insurance professional. You will learn the ins and outs of the internal systems and work alongside professionals to complete team and company objectives. You will learn the impact of your department on the overall company and its success.

Role:

This role will be responsible for assisting with daily tasks and projects in support the PHLY Marketing & Events team.  This role will require strong relationship building skills and the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast paced team environment. It entails assisting with the planning and execution of large scale marketing, training and appreciation events (virtual, hybrid and in-person) Successful events, marketing and advertising efforts (print, online and social) should result in direct leads and potential business opportunities for the company. The individual should have an interest in pursuing a marketing & events career and be motivated by setting and achieving goals and be highly detail oriented.

Tasks/Responsibilities:

Daily tasks may consist of (not an inclusive list and subject to change): Assistance with organizing event files and reports, managing the production of Marketing webinars and internal podcast episodes and participate in Event team meetings to generate new ideas and execute on set goals. Providing event support in the pre, on-site and post phases is required (ex. include creating rooming lists, menu selections, designing event logos and invite etc.)

Program Overview/Benefits:

• Program runs June 2, 2025-August 8, 2025; Monday through Friday, 8:30-5:00pm LT

• Hybrid Schedule - 3 days minimum in the office/week

• Participation in a team project; teams meet weekly to collaborate and prepare their final presentation which will be delivered to the leadership team at the end of the program

• Attend weekly department overview presentations delivered by Senior Leadership to gain knowledge of the company and industry

• Weekly meetings with your assigned mentor

• On the job training within the department at the direction of the supervising manager

• Volunteer opportunities

• Hour rate range $21.00-$22.00 depending on year in school
