Job Summary:

Handle mail processes.  Handle office administration duties and functions. Assist in handling bank accounts and reconciliation processes.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Handle mail processes, including, but not limited to distribution of incoming mail and media to appropriate recipients, and processing of outgoing mail.
  • Handle office administration duties and functions, including, but not limited to scanning and filing documents in paperless file system; monitoring pickup of secured documents; managing offsite storage and retrieval; maintaining office equipment and office supplies inventory, etc.
  • Assist in handling bank accounts and reconciliations processes, including, but not limited to handling bank deposits; preparing and entering cashbook entries; and completing account reconciliation processes, etc.
  • Assist in handling AP processes, including, but not limited to preparing check requisitions; printing checks; and updating subledgers, etc.
  • Assist in documenting and updating procedures in the manual.
  • Maintain compliance with general accounting practice.
  • Responsible for complying with proper internal controls as necessary to conduct job functions and/or carry out responsibilities and/or administrative activities at Company.

Qualifications:

  • College degree, preferred
  • 1 to 2 years of general office experience
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work as a team member
  • Ability to work independently
  • Good organizational skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient PC and office equipment skills
