Job Summary

Primary duties and responsibilities:

• Gain understanding and participate in the daily, monthly and quarterly functionality of the Tax Department under the supervision of professional staff
• Prepare the tax filings for the following tax types: corporate and insurance federal, state, and local; sales and use; personal property tax filing
• Perform tax research and analyze tax updates
• Assist in the preparation of Form 1099 MISC
• Contribute to special projects as needed

Qualifications

Recommended Qualifications:

• Must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate program in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance
• Strong interpersonal, time management, and organization skills
• Familiarity with MS applications
• Minimum of 25 hours a week
• At least 1 day in the office
