Job Summary:
Responsible for the management and engineering of infrastructure technologies that may involve virtualization and computer hardware, storage and backups, active directory and messaging or automation and deployments.
Essential Job Functions:
- Serves as a technology resource and coaches junior staff
- Manages cloud infrastructure in Azure and AWS
- Develops processes and procedures to efficiently manage permissions and access across the cloud platforms
- Develops effective IaC (Infrastructure as Code) for spin up/down environments in alignment with our development teams
- Administers Azure DevOPs pipelines and deployments
- Manages backup operations and develops design recommendations for DELL backup environment
- Provides Tier 3 support as needed
- Performs and coordinates routine maintenance and patching on responsible systems including communication planning
- Creates SOP’s and QRG’s for the various teams, including but not limited to tasks such as IaC deployment processes and backup operations
- Supports the creation of infrastructure roadmaps
- Supports technical proposals for increasing capacity and new implementations
- Supports architecture and implementation plans for infrastructure technologie
- Supports cross training of new QRG’s and SOP’s with IT departments as required
- Creates documentation of overall infrastructure systems architecture (including cloud technology)
- Supports capacity plans and management and maintaining configuration management
- Supports technology vendor and solution evaluations as assigned
- Supports the review and creation of repeatable best practices in compliance with TMNAS architectural standards and engineering methodology
- Supports the implementation of best practice security measures to protect corporate data and systems
- Participates as part of an on-call rotation for after-hours support
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience required
- Required Experience:
- 1. Infrastructure automation technologies such as Terraform, Azure Bicep and ARM templates
- 2. Backup technologies and overall data recovery methodologies, replication technologies including cloud backup methodologies
- 3. Microsoft Azure Infrastructure technologies and concepts including landing zones
- 4. Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID
- 5. Knowledge of DevOps fundamentals and practices
- Preferred Experience:
- 1. Monitoring technologies
- 2. Automation scripting and management
- 3. Deployment and system maintenance methodologies
- 4. AWS Cloud infrastructure
- Relevant preferred certifications: ITIL Intermediate v3 – Service Transition, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MSCE Server, MCSE Messaging), CompTIA Server+, EMC Storage Implementation Engineer (EMCIE), Cisco Certified Network Professional - Data Center (CCNP – Data Center)
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Knowledge of typical organizational politics and political tactics; ability to effectively navigate formal and informal communication and decision-making channels
- Strong Knowledge, insight, and understanding of business concepts and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations

Salary range $89,000 to $120,000. Ultimate salary offered will be based on factors such as applicant experience and geographic location. Our company offers a competitive benefits package and bonus eligibility on top of base.
