Job Summary:

Supervise the administration of quality control process, monitor work assignments, and maintain training program for Premium Auditors and Audit Review personnel.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Administer a quality process to minimize audit errors and maintain customer timeliness standards.

  • Develop method to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the current process.

  • Complete workload assignments and monitor outstanding work to meet department timeliness standards.

  • Report on status of production and outstanding items on a regular basis.

  • Develop career development programs for Auditors and Reviewers to address current and long-term developmental needs.

  • Consult with Producers to assure the Customer Satisfaction process is maintained to the highest possible standards.

  • Consult with Producers, state authorities; applicable Bureau's and NCCI to assure  standards of performance are met.

  • Consult with customers and when required conduct audits to determine proper premium for policy period as directed.

  • Provide technical assistance to customer and/or agents in setting up records for insurance purposes.

  • Advise underwriting and other concerned parties of any factors discovered on audits that may offset risks i.e., new classifications, financial status, housekeeping, cooperation, etc.

  • Advise and instruct premium audit reviewers on the correct billing of completed audits.

  • Assist in the supervision and collection of agent balances.

Qualifications:

  • College Degree

  • B.S. in accounting, finance, or business

  • Three to five years of experience as a Premium Audit Supervisor

  • Associate Premium Auditor (APA) designation preferred

  • Skilled in the use and application of Computers

  • Microsoft Excel and Word

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Salary range of $125k - $155k. Ultimate salary offered will be based on factors such as applicant experience and geographic location. Our company offers a competitive benefits package and bonus eligibility on top of base.
