Duties
We are looking for a Salesforce Training Specialist to join our team:
Summary: The Salesforce Training Specialist assesses learning needs and designs and implements learning solutions in support of Salesforce training.
The ideal candidate is someone with training and expertise with the Salesforce CRM platform, that is comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams.
A typical day will include the following:
• Actively consults and partners with the business and the PHLY Salesforce team (including the IT/technical team) to identify and assess learning needs and knowledge gaps
• Proposes and implements learning solutions which may include: the creation and management of new programs; the instructional design and facilitation of instructor-led courses; the creation of on-demand courses and videos; and the development, review, and/or updating of Job Aids and other training documentation
• Manages the logistics for instructor-led training delivery
• Delivers technical trainings, often with an emphasis on hands-on demos and exercises, to users with various levels of expertise
• Manages repository of existing training assets to ensure that they remain current and available
• Partners with IT to maintain a Salesforce training environment, communicates outages and assists with upgrades/releases
• Provides support for the organization’s Salesforce users - including new hires - to maximize their adoption and usage of the Salesforce platform
• Measures the effectiveness and impact of learning solutions and uses these to make recommendations for change
Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of Salesforce CRM Platform experience is required, salesforce administrator Certification preferred
• Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent combination of degree and work experience
• Experience delivering technical systems training
• Solid understanding of learning design principles and engagement tools leveraged in a corporate education environment to engage learners effectively and drive meaningful behavior changes
• Working experience in instructional design tools (Articulate, Adobe Captivate, Panopto, etc.) and a Learning Management System (LMS)
• Experience leading/delivering training activities for transformational or modernization projects following generally accepted SDLC/Agile methodologies
• Experience aligning training deliverables with iterative development cycles and continuous improvement processes. UAT experience a plus.
• Experience in communicating to various system stakeholders (e.g., Salesforce business users, executives, IT, and project teams)
• Insurance industry experience preferred, but not required
• Occasional travel required – up to 10%
• National Range $95,000 - $125,000.
• Ultimate salary offered will be based on factors such as applicant experience and geographic location.
