Business Development Specialist (Workers Compensation)

Job Description

Duties

We are looking for a  Business Development Specialist (Workers Compensation) to join our team in Melville, NY or Bala Cynwyd, PA!

A typical day will include the following:

Participates in the marketing activities across all regions to promote new business with agents, brokers and prospects.

Attend conventions to promote business across all regions in the US.

Solicit new business via in-house software and current agency relationships.

Develops and conducts a fixed number of planned and qualified marketing/business development appointments per month/quarterly/annually.

Demonstrate features and merits of policies offered.

Submits qualified submissions for processing to Underwriter in complete form with a request for quotation by following the Code of Business Conduct.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree preferred

Minimum of 10 years' expereince in carrier relationship management

Experience with workers compensation carriers and multi-lines

Wholesale brokerage experience preferred

Salary

National salary range: $125,843.00-$148,051.00. 

Ultimate salary offered will be based on factors such as an applicant experience and geographic location.
