Job Summary
Design, build, and support the end user computing environment for TMNAS’ group company customers. This may include hardware and software selection, developing deployment strategies, system imaging, and ongoing management with both on premise and cloud-based tools for physical and virtual client systems.
Essential Job Functions
- Manages systems using MECM and Intune for tracking deployments and overall system health. Use these tools to deliver security solutions for encryption and threat protection
- Executes the existing monthly Microsoft patching schedule, addressing any systems requiring remediation and reporting results in a timely manner
- Collaborates with the Service Desk and Deskside Support teams to handle escalated support tickets in a timely fashion
- Works to share knowledge to help these teams resolve future cases sooner to help improve with a first contact resolution
- Provides Tier 3 support as needed. Performs routine maintenance and patching on responsible systems
- Creates SOP’s and QRG’s for the various teams, including but not limited to tasks such as server builds and Exchange administration
- Supports capacity planning and management, and configuration management. Supports technology vendor and solution evaluations as assigned.
- Uses repeatable best practices in compliance with TMNAS architectural standards and engineering methodology
- Assists with the implementation of best practice security measures to protect corporate data and systems
- Participates as part of an on-call rotation for after hours support

Qualifications
- 4+ years of relevant desktop engineering experience required.
- Required technical experience:
- Image development
- Application packaging via MECM/SCCM
- Client Virtualization technologies such as Horizon/Citrix.
- Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID
- Microsoft 365 suite
- Monitoring technologies
- Automation scripting and management
- Deployment and system maintenance methodologies
- Preferred technical experience:
- Core infrastructure design
- Virtualization solutions (VMWare and Hyper-V)
- Windows and Linux host environments and related technologies
- Microsoft Exchange
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Preferred relevant certifications:
- ITIL Intermediate v3 – Service Transition, Service Operation, Operational Support and Analysis
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MSCE Server, MCSE Messaging)
- Knowledge of typical organizational politics and political tactics; ability to effectively navigate formal and informal communication and decision-making channels
- Knowledge, insight, and understanding of business concepts and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations
- Must demonstrate strong analytical ability with the capability to determine the root cause of problems and issues and provide solutions
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to juggle multiple, competing, frequently changing time-sensitive deadlines and priorities
- Ability to work independently and without supervision.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Salary range $63,000 to $85,000. Ultimate salary offered will be based on factors such as applicant experience and geographic location. Our company offers a competitive benefits package and bonus eligibility on top of base.
