Duties
Philadelphia Insurance Companies is looking to expand the State Filings Unit of the Compliance Department for the role of a State Filing Analyst.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinates the submission of rates, rules, and form filings in SERFF and other systems ensuring compliance with respective state filing requirements
• Monitor and report status of state filing submissions so that key stakeholders are informed in a timely matter
• Effectively communicate filing objections received and coordinate responses with internal partners such as Product Development, Underwriting, Actuarial, and Information Technology
• Conduct prior filing research and or provide filing requirement guidance to requesting parties
• Communicate directly with state regulators as needed on filing submissions
• Maintain and organize all filing correspondence and documentation
• Provide assistance on market conduct examinations by state insurance departments
• Ability to work well under pressure on multiple filing projects and special projects simultaneously
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience with a desire to work in the insurance industry.
Must be detail oriented, have strong organizational skills and knowledge and understanding of state laws and regulation affecting insurance practices.

Salary
• National Range $73,000 - $85,000.
• Ultimate salary offered will be based on factors such as applicant experience and geographic location.
