Duties

The TMNAS IT Intern is an operational and functional resource role within the Access Management function within the TMNAS IT department. Responsible for providing support to the second level team and working on various data mining projects.   Also will provide support and problem resolution for technology products or applications escalated from first level service desk.

Job Responsibilities:

Specific job responsibilities for the intern are based on need but can include:

  • Responds to inquiries and requests for assistance with computer systems or PCs; resolves customer inquiries for one or more products or services
  • Analyzes simple to moderate inquiries and determines appropriate technical area or vendor to resolve problems; coordinates with other IT areas to resolve problems if necessary
  • Maintains written documentation on each call; responds to clients, escalates complex problems to the next level of support as required by documented procedures
  • Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support.  Tracks and monitors the problem(s) to ensure a timely resolution
  • Comply with proper internal controls as necessary to conduct job functions and/or carry out responsibilities and/or administrative activities at the company
  • Perform special projects and/or activities as may be assigned

Qualifications

Experience and Knowledge Required:

  • Coursework in IT or Business disciplines
  • IT process or framework knowledge (ITIL, COBIT, PMP) a plus
  • Basic experience working within an IT administrative or equivalent corporate function
  • Relevant experience may include: Knowledge of Windows 10,  Office 365,  MS Teams and Office Suite (Word,  Excel, etc.)
  • Hands on knowledge of Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and/or other software supportive of IT. Knowledge of Excel a plus
