Duties

Job Summary:

This position provides support to the Bureau Reporting Department by handling Insured requests for proof of insurance, generating auto ID card and resolving issues for Insureds, Brokers and Management. Complete reports as required and be responsible for a full range of activities, which ensure the operational effectiveness of the Business Unit.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Work with Bureau Reporting management to submit vehicle information data to the state DMV’s.  This will entail:
    • Receipt of auto listings from insured, broker or underwriter
    • Review information for accuracy and follow up with Underwriting for missing or incorrect data
    • Timely and accurate transferring vehicle information into reporting templates and uploading the data into the reporting software
    • Review submissions for errors returned by the DMVs
    • Communicating the information back to the insured, broker or underwriter to resolve errors.
  • Submit coverage verification requests to the DMVs for vehicles receiving suspension notices
  • Assist with completion of auto ID cards as requested by insured. 
  • Monitor mailboxes for necessary miscellaneous inquiries
  • Act as a liaison for offshore team by delegating work and quality checking their processed work.
  • Provide documentation as requested by other staff members.
  • Escalate issues to management as required.
  • Perform quality control checks on work completed by the Off Shore team.  
  • Responsible for complying with proper internal controls as necessary to conduct job functions and/or carry out responsibilities and/or administrative activities at Company
  • Assist Bureau Reporting management in the completion of monthly, quarterly or annual performance reports that are provided to senior management and the insureds.
  • Provide training to offshore staff on data management tools.

Qualifications

  • Advanced skills in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Minimum 3 years general office experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication
  • Ability to multitask with very little supervision
  • Ability to work well within a group environment

Salary range of $56k - $65k. Ultimate salary offered will be based on factors such as applicant experience and geographic location. Our company offers a competitive benefits package and bonus eligibility on top of base.
