Duties

Job Summary:

Tokio Marine North America Services is looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and enthusiastic Human Resources Coordinator to join our HR Department.  The HR Coordinator will provide administrative support and assistance to the HR Department and handle various job functions as outlined below.  They will work to foster positive relationships while serving as a go-to HR support person for new hires and all of our valued employees.

The ideal candidate is new to their HR career and eager to learn and grow amongst a high performing team.  This is a hybrid role and will require reporting to our Bala Cynwyd office at least 3 day per week.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding tasks, maintaining compliance and utilizing our HRIS and other systems
  2. Support the planning and organizing of CSR and engagement activities
  3. Maintain our social media accounts by generating content, creating posts, and engaging with our followers
  4. Draft internal employee communications
  5. Administrate our day to day recognition program, Annual Awards, and Service Awards
  6. Respond to employee inquiries regarding TMNAS policies, procedures and programs
  7. Aid with the development of human resource policies, procedures, and programs
  8. Assist with the administration of performance management and compensation/bonus programs
  9. Prepare of day to day reports inclusive of organization charts, etc
  10. Schedule meetings and make travel arrangements
  11. Provide general clerical support, including photocopying, electronic filing, letter and document preparation/finalization
  12. Develop Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations on HR topics
  13. Maintain confidential and non-routine information
  14. Interface effectively with all levels of employees

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree required
  2. Experience working in an office environment is preferred
  3. Social Media experience is highly desirable
  4. Event planning experience is highly desirable
  5. Regular and reliable attendance
  6. Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  7. Strong writing and communication skills
  8. Strong organizing skills
  9. Strong interpersonal relationship building skills:  able to work with a variety of people and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner
  10. Emotional maturity to be able to responsibly work with confidential and sensitive information
  11. Superior attention to detail
  12. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
