Duties
We are looking for a Specialty Asst. Underwriter - TMS Excess Casualty Nationwide to join our team
Summary -
Provides support to Excess Liability units by handling manual policy creation, manual endorsement creation, and other basic underwriting support functions as assigned.
A typical day will include the following:
Communicates with appropriate colleagues about (P&C) needs, changes or concerns regarding assigned accounts.
Documents relevant business information by tracking and capturing information for endorsements, policy creation and policy issuance; and maintains the account and endorsement logs
Verify and validate billing information for processing into Billing System. Create straightforward transactions in the billing system with accuracy and detail.
Generates Broker correspondence in electronic format (i.e., e-mail) related to transaction processing and informational follow up requests using freeform letters, predefined or approved templates.
Performs pre-analysis support for policies, endorsements, and other incoming documents based upon predefined underwriting rules and/or guidelines
Contacts agents for missing information (i.e. phone, e-mail)
Works with and between departments for successful resolution of issues.
Works with excel to set-up renewal raters
