Duties

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare and distribute the claims checks (PMS, SPI, GWCC), in a timely manner.
  • Index scanned APGL mail, incoming checks and pending (unidentified) mail. Deliver all incoming mail to the support staff.
  • Process the Loss Reimbursement checks that is given to Billing for handling.
  • Research and index pending mail in AppXtender and Claims Mail Desk pending folder.
  • Review PMS & GWCC repots for duplicate payments, monthly.
  • Order supplies as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Special Circumstances:

  • May require occasional overtime

Qualifications

Qualifications/Experience:

  • High School diploma
  • 2+ years general office experience
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Type 40+ WPM
  • Good alpha and numeric skills
  • Ability to stay focused for long periods of time and work on routing repetitive type of desk work
  • Able to produce accurate work product within deadlines
