Duties

We are looking for a Surety Claims Specialist to join our team.

Summary:

Investigate, evaluate and settle more complex Surety claims.

A typical day will include the following:

Evaluates each claim in light of facts, policy considerations and corporate direction. Pays and/or reserves and/or denies coverage as appropriate.

Investigates circumstances of routine as well as complex claims to determine if and to what extent coverage applies.

Thoroughly understands coverages, bond terms and conditions.

Communicates with all relevant parties and documents communication as well as results of investigation.

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have the following:
BA required with minimum eight (8) years experience in Surety Claims or JD preferred with minimum five (5) years experience in Surety Claims.
Strong attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Ability to work in a fast paced, growing environment.
