Duties
We are looking for a Business Process Specialist to join Team PHLY!
Summary -
Analyzes company operations, organization, and systems in order to recommend solutions to improve efficiency, reduce cost, and support growth. Drives design and delivery of strategic, transformative changes.
A typical day will include the following:
Assess company operations, organization, products, and systems for significant improvement opportunities
Assess impact of book rollovers and partnering opportunities on company operations
Identify and protect sensitive, confidential, or proprietary information
Assess cost, benefit, and feasibility of potential solutions and business opportunities
Partner with business and/or IT leaders to identify, prioritize, and execute projects that enhance business capabilities, processes, and operations
Identify and articulate technology capabilities, challenges, and trade-offs to business units
Engage business stakeholders and advocate on their behalf
Create business cases for projects and measure realization of benefits
Advocate with IT on topics of critical differentiation for PHLY and contribute to decisions about build/adopt/customize and architectural/process tradeoffs
Research, document, and articulate business goals and requirements for transformation projects
Lead business activities for transformation projects
Identify resource demand and capacity needed for projects
Lead UAT or OCM activities for transformation projects
Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred however not required
3-5 years minimum experience in business analysis, insurance operations, underwriting, or a related area
Experience enhancing core insurance systems (billing, policy administration, customer relationship management, workflow, or claims)
Hands on experience with Duck Creek, Guidewire, or Salesforce is preferred
