Duties

Job Summary:

Learn all aspects of preparing   Bureau and Independent rate, rule and form filings and associated internal tools for assigned lines of business.  This includes both bureau and independent filings for  forms, rates, rules, regulatory filing  requirements, workflow management and both TMA and vendor systems.

Essential Job Functions:

• Completes training assignments as provided.
• Assist in performing routine tasks within a closely supervised setting.
• Develop a working knowledge of TMA technology,  vendor technology and reference systems to process your work
• Reviews bureau circulars to determine the appropriate filing action.
• Prepares  bureau and independent  filings  including all associated, forms, exhibits, explanatory memorandum and exceptions as required for SERFF entry.
• Coordinates  with Product Managers, actuaries and other internal and external resources to develop required  filing exhibits  ;
• Manages and records all transactions as required in internal filing tracker system.
• Requests programming of filings into TMA systems.
• Assist in systems implementation for Corporate Underwriting matters;
• Follows Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to meet compliance specifications for each individual line of business assigned; including updates to internal tools and State Filings Database
• Performs competitor filing research.
• Responsible for complying with proper internal controls as necessary to conduct job functions and carry out responsibilities and/or     administrative activities; including data systems. All other duties as assigned by the Product Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 0-2 Years of experience with P&C business lines, Underwriting, Underwriting Assistant, law, paralegal or Compliance-related work.
• Recent College Graduate with Insurance, Risk Management, or Law focus will be considered.
• Strong research and Analysis skills
• Strong Technical Aptitude.
