We are looking for a Sr. Marketing Representative to join our team in the DC or Northern Virginia region!
This position is responsible for working with our agency partners in a collaborative way to qualify, leads and soliciting business through agents in our niche products.
A typical day will include the following:
Act as liaison with an assigned agency force on both new opportunities and an existing book of insureds.
Develops a fixed number of planned and qualified agency visits and appointments per week.
Maintains consistent communication and visits with our agents throughout the year
Work to prequalify and vet submissions from agents for the underwriting team.
Develops new Preferred and Select agency relationships.
Explain features and merits of policies offered, recommending amount and type of coverage based on analysis of prospect's circumstances.
Generate referrals and leads from each qualified appointment and new/existing opportunities and insured.
Successful candidates will have the following -
Current Property and Casualty license & least 2-3 years previous experience with a preference of (5) years’ experience in selling commercial insurance with a carrier or agency with demonstrated success.
Ability to work in a fast paced, changing, growing environment.
